I visited New Hope this summer. It was an interesting place— there seems to be several different cultures (biker, gay, new age, tourist) congregating there, so I’m not surprised such a place generates a cool scene, so to speak.

New Hope, Pennsylvania’s music scene has been extraordinarily tight of late, and its not just because Ween lives there. Truth is, even though New Hope is a great and beautiful little artsy town, this crop of young musicians are all moving to Philly now, much to my delight.

Dan Svizeny plays in several of the up and coming bands like Blackhawks and Nude Beach. He told me he’s been sitting on this pretty lil’ jam from his solo project for the last month or so, much to our loss! But now, we win. Total Real Estate vibes here. Dig it.
